Summary: The Peace & Plenty is in a great location, close to restaurants & shops. The view from our room was very nice, and the recently updated rooms were nice as well. Food was good! There were a few things that kept me from giving our stay more stars. The front desk staff was not very helpful. Staff could rarely answer the questions that we had about the island. Towels would be my biggest complaint. The hotel & the beach club would be without beach towels for days. The charge for not returning the number of towels you "checked out" was ridiculous. I've never felt more pressure to keep up with beach towels in my whole life! Losing towels is just the cost of doing business & that burden should not be put on the customer, especially when the hotel doesn't go the extra mile to make sure clean towels are available. Housekeeping also took all our bath towels one day & didn't put any back. There is no room service, so we had to go find bath towels on our own. The water taxi to the Beach Club had issues as well. Skip the sign-up sheet, no one uses it! In the morning, there is not enough space to accommodate everyone, & they don't make an extra trip to pick up those who were waiting- you just have to wait another hour! The only time a special trip was made to pick up passengers was when there wasn't enough space on the last boat back to the hotel. Small thing, but the general landscaping could use a bit of a refresh as well. Still great location, just manage your expectations.
